Please choose the topic according to the themes below. For the final year internship, you need to choose an advisor in advance (at the end of your 4). You can see the list of professors updated by clicking <a href=\"https:\/\/itc.edu.kh\/faculty-staffs-hre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/p><p>After the internship as well as the final year internship, you need to submit the report. Please follow the <a href=\"https:\/\/c3da8db7-467d-4957-b664-46910fc16c9a.filesusr.com\/ugd\/595897_cdea0c9fe4444af9a9bd5844e454ad4b.docx?dn=ITC_Guide_for_Thesis_Preparation_TS.docx\">guideline<\/a> below.<\/p><h5>Internship themes<\/h5><p>These internship themes\/topics apply to all students (T1, T2, I3, I4, and I5) in the Faculty of Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering<\/p><p><b>For option: Water and Environmental Engineering (WEE)<\/b><\/p><ul><li>Water Supply<\/li><li>Water treatment<\/li><li>Wastewater collection and drainage systems<\/li><li>Urban water management<\/li><li>Wastewater treatment<\/li><li>Water quality analysis and management<\/li><li>Groundwater resources and management including quantity and quality<\/li><li>Plumbing and fire protection system<\/li><li>Solid waste management\/ Hazardous waste management<\/li><li>Ecology and natural resources engineering and management<\/li><li>Environmental impact assessment<\/li><li>Atmospheric Environmental Engineering related<\/li><li>watershed and river basin management<\/li><li>Geographic Information System\/ Remote Sensing<\/li><\/ul><p><b>For option: Water Resources and Rural Infrastructure (WRI)<\/b><\/p><ul><li>Water-related infrastructure including bridge and culvert, riverbank stability design, dam and reservoir<\/li><li>Foundation for infrastructure and retaining wall<\/li><li>Road design and construction<\/li><li>River hydraulics, river engineering, and river basin management<\/li><li>Irrigation design and construction<\/li><li>Irrigated water management<\/li><li>Flood risk management<\/li><li>Water Scarcity and Drought<\/li><li>Groundwater resources and management including quantity and quality<\/li><li>Irrigation design and construction<\/li><li>Infrastructure including topography study, road design and construction, and retaining wall<\/li><li>Geographic Information System\/ Remote Sensing<\/li><\/ul><p>Remarks:<\/p><ul><li>WEE or WRI students are not permitted to do an internship related to BUILDING CONSTRUCTION<\/li><li>WEE Students are not permitted to do an internship related to irrigation design and construction<\/li><li>WRI students are not permitted to do an internship related to water supply and wastewater treatment, design, and construction<\/li><\/ul><p><b>Thesis Guideline and Template<\/b><\/p><p>The guide for thesis preparation has been developed and prescribed by the Scientific Committee (SC), of ITC for assisting all students at ITC in all engineering degree including Associate Degree, Engineer\u2019s Degree, and Master&#8217;s degree. ITC is holding the Intellectual Property Rights adopted by the Royal Government of Cambodia together with the research partners. Students and lecturers in all departments are compulsorily required to strictly follow this guide for thesis preparation to ensure the standard of uniformity and preservation of standard archival thesis copy. Any query not specified in this guide should be referred to the department officer via gru@itc.edu.kh.
